After visiting my mother & father last weekend, we returned home only to realize my youngest son had left his teddy bear behind at Grandma’s house. What could have been a tragedy (imagine big tear drops rolling down the sweetest face you’ve ever seen), Grandma turned this opportunity into a game and has my four year-old absolutely thrilled with the results!
You see, Lacie the Bear is having a sleepover at Grandma house. Daily updates let us know what she’s up to and clearly confirm our suspicions: my boys have the coolest Grandma in the world!
Below you can see that Lacie has been busy watching deer in the back field, making brownies, reading books, and even helping referee a local basketball game.
Oh, if all little bears could be so lucky!

This reminds me of the Flat Stanley Project for older students; but it is oh, so more personal for my sweet preschooler.
Who knows what Lacie Bear will be up to today?
