My five year-old made cake for our family this past week. Granted he’s a genius (don’t all mommies think that of their babies?) but, I must admit, this recipe is especially engineered for little-boy success. A no-cook, fast and easy, summer delight: I recommend this dessert for summer gatherings of friends and neighbors.

This recipe includes just three ingredients:
graham crackers,
heavy whipping cream,
sugar.
Whip your cream and
add sugar to taste.
(The Kitchen-Aid Master Mommy
does this at our house,
but your young chef may be
old enough to tackle
this challenge as well.)
Layer the whipped cream with your graham crackers
to build a “brick” of cake ingredients. We had a box of honey grahams this time, but the chocolate-variety of graham crackers is my very, very favorite to use with this recipe.

Once the cake is
the size you desire,
cover completely with
the left-over
whipped cream and
place in the refrigerator
overnight.
To serve... cut and garnish with shaved chocolate,
fresh berries, or a crumbled candy bar of your choice.
I wish I had pictures of the finished product to share with you. This cake looks good. This cake tastes good.
We ate it all up (under the watchful eye
and proud smile of our little chef) in no time.
