Two years ago Santa brought an Aquadoodle for Christmas.
This simple toy doesn’t get much play time anymore,
but I drag it out at least once a month for a new purpose: handwriting and spelling practice!

Here’s a photo of my oldest practicing this words spelling list. The water mat seems to break up the monotony of
practicing spelling words (we usually quiz him over dinner). Little brother doesn’t like to be left out and so I
also occasionally “assign” him writing tasks too:
his name, 1-10, or the ABCs.
Just one more way to get a bit more mileage out of
Santa’s generosity.
