These chapter books follow the same classic story lines,
but are adapted to ensure length, details, and vocabulary are accessible to younger readers. Bonus: There’s an illustration on every other page. I think these books are a good way to introduce a reader to a classic and perhaps motivate the child to read the original (or other books by the original author).
