My oldest is a Lego fanatic and considering how those teeny tiny bricks entertain him for hours- I’m a fan too!
Lego stores nation-wide hold monthly Lego Club Meetings. We traveled to our nearest store at Washington Square in Beaverton just last month. For a $15 fee, children ages 5-12 get early access to the store on a Saturday morning. Lego Store employees lead the ‘club members’ in a builders challenge. Members then receive a goodie bag filled with a large set of Lego pieces and a Lego Club T-shirt.
This activity turned out to be a great deal for my Lego maniac. He always wants to buy new sets- but I think we already own more Legos than should be allowable by law. Instead of a new kit – my young builder spent his money on a chance to interact with other Lego lovers and build a new memory. The T-Shirt and extra bricks are just sprinkles on top!
