My boys and I took a couple of dollars in quarters to Mission Mill this week and fed the ducks. The pretty park-like setting is great and it makes for such a quick, easy, and cheap outing. Hooray!
No need to pay admission: the ducks hang out by the bridge - just outside the cute café there in the Mission Mill complex. The food dispenser takes quarters and, in return, supplies a handful of cracked corn.
Enjoy!

My youngest just finished up swim lessons at the YMCA. I was unsure of how he’d do in swim lessons but ended up signing up for two sessions in a row as my little boy turns out to be a great big fish! He did great in the pool and I’m happy to see him on the road to water safety. Leave a comment and give us the 411. My son made this “buggy” card at one of A.C. Gilbert’s Preschool Drop-In Activity days. Free with the village entrance fee this event offer 4 or 5 small craft projects that children (age 3 to 5) and adult can complete at their own pace. The sample for this activity showed just three thumb prints, but my kiddo insisted on using every finger and thumb to cover the page. I loved the results so much I couldn’t bear to send the card to anyone else. Check out other programs and activities at: A.C.
